ViAJERRO is a store that closes and opens without notice to the public, it is ajoke within the group eventhough we are woking many hours a day of projects that ramge from decorating to making costumes. This summer, we are going to open again with newer designs of shirts, handmade and handpainted bags, and many more of San Carlos souvenirs worth buying for they are all collector's items because we might be going to close after supplies last.

GAYLE, The Mystical Cat

Life is always about dreaming and pursuing what you dream about.

In my quest for the acknowldgement of the medium of bodypainting as an art that truly belongs to San Carlos, it seems that I am always dreaming and chasing that dream. The idea of the bodypainting competition always drives me to work harder not because that I want to have a name for myself ( the name, NUI, has already rooted with the word "bodypainting") but it became a mission for me to work it out for the artists and the people who follow the art of bodypainting.

Eight years ago when we started the bodypainting, it was just an idea that was formed into a show that marked the history of the city, now, it has becom a a part of a culture that still seeks its real meaning and identty. This year, we are marling the year 2009 with our ninth bodypainting which I have entitled "HAREM".

It has been said that a cat has nine lives, this is why I have thought of using the cat as inspiration. If man would have nine lives, will he become a better person than the last? Will he change what he has done or will he still be as careless and pessimistic as before?

In my trip to Cebu, I met Allan's neice named Gayle who possesses a beauty so slithe and captivating that I can't help but as her to be the model for all the advertising materials of Harem. The answer was a "YES" and the results are here.
